SPN 8x13 - Spoilery about one of the characters  

John DeSantis also played Freeman Daggett in Ghostfacers!   

Plus it's pretty obvious that although someone said in an interview that the man was 6'11" so therefore huge, it looks like he had to have some level of prosthesis work done to build up his face and body.  This first photo is NOT from SPN.

I think they added stuff especially to his arms and hands to give it that clay look. Sometimes you could tell when he'd bunch his fist or move his wrist. Pretty cool. Though in the scene where they explain who they are and Dean goes "we're the good guys!", this guy just barely towers over Jared. If he wasn't so broad we might think 'eh Sam could probably take him'. LOL
